Mount Arvon is the highest point in Michigan, standing 1,979 feet above sea level. Mt. Arvon is located 12 miles East of L'Anse. If you enjoy hiking in the mountains then Mt. Arvon is definitely one to climb. However, in the winter and spring the road will be closed due to snow or mud, making it difficult for vehicles to get in and out.
Waterfalls can be found just minutes off the road and deep in the forest. Have a restful night and then spend your days hiking and enjoying!
